Currency Exchange Calculator

This Privacy Policy explains what data stays on the device, what requests go to third-party services, and what AnalogBrain does not collect on its own servers.

1. Who we are

Currency Exchange Calculator is published by AnalogBrain. If you have any privacy questions, you can contact us at contact@analogbrain.com.

2. What the app does

The app helps users calculate currency exchange values, store app preferences, and optionally keep a local history of calculations on the device. No account registration or sign-in is required to use the main features.

3. What we do not collect

  • No user accounts are created by the app.
  • No personal data database is maintained on AnalogBrain servers.
  • No calculation history, settings, or selected currencies are uploaded to AnalogBrain servers.
  • No developer-side deletion request workflow exists because AnalogBrain does not keep a server-side copy of user data from the app.

4. Local data on your device

  • Local preferences such as selected currencies, language, and app settings stored on the device.
  • Local calculation history stored on the device when the feature is enabled.
  • You can remove this local data by clearing app storage on the device or uninstalling the app.

5. Network requests and third-party services

The app does not send user data to AnalogBrain servers, but it does contact third-party services required for core functionality and monetization:

  • Exchange-rate requests are sent to https://api.frankfurter.dev to download current currency rates.
  • Google AdMob is used to display ads. Google may process technical and advertising-related data such as device identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, approximate location, and ad interaction data, depending on the device, region, consent status, and Google settings.
  • Analytics: AnalogBrain does not use a dedicated analytics tracker in the current app code.
  • Google Privacy Policy
  • How Google uses information from apps

6. Deletion requests

Because AnalogBrain does not keep user accounts or a server-side user database for this app, there is no separate developer-side data deletion process. If you want to remove locally stored preferences or calculation history, clear the app data on your device or uninstall the app. Data processed by third-party providers such as Google is governed by their own policies and controls.

7. Data retention

Preferences and calculation history remain on the device until the user clears the app data, uninstalls the app, or manually changes settings inside the app. AnalogBrain does not retain a server-side copy of this information.

8. Children’s privacy

This app is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us and we will review the issue.
